Hallö!

I’m Juliane, a media designer, videographer, photographer, occasional musician, random chemist and pleased to meet you.

From 2008–2017, I’ve worked in a media design agency in Nuremberg, Germany, focusing on both digital & print design as well as photography. Since 2017 I have been working fully freelance – mainly in Norway, Germany and Switzerland.

Being a musician myself, I love documenting musicians both on- and offstage, covering live performances, studio recordings and behind-the-scenes documentaries. The photographic results have been published in a range of local, national and international media, such as NRK, Adressa, Dagsavisen, Klassekampen, Musikexpress and Rolling Stone Germany.

Furthermore, I tremendously enjoy shooting music and dance videos as well as live performances. My video works include shoots for renowned labels such as ECM Records, ACT Music, Edition Records, and Ingebrigt Håker Flaten’s Sonic Transmissions Records.

My work is also highly inspired by music when it comes to creating cover artworks; but is by no means limited to either genre of photography or design. I like experimenting, improvising, and embracing coincidence.
